My Dream ? :)
I’ve never been one to have an answer to this question. I grew up thinking that dreams were materialistic goals that only shallow people had. Dreams always involved money that I never thought to have, in a life I never thought I’d experience. So when people ask me what my dream in life is, I freeze because it’s never something I’ve thought about—afraid that it would only lead to disappointment.
But after giving it some thought, here’s my answer:
I dream of what I have now—but slightly better.
“I just want to be…” I want to be kind, the best version of myself, proud of myself, present, hardworking. No I may not be as ambitious as some, but if I’m doing better today than I was yesterday, that is my goal.
